“New Arrivals” is a compilation project aimed at highlighting exceptional independent material, while raising funds for various charitable causes such as Gulf Coast Relief and Artists Against Hunger & Poverty. Musically, the project's mission is to bring together hardworking, talented and relatively unknown artists and share their very best work. For each new volume, a new beneficiary is chosen and 100% of all proceeds of the sales go toward that organization. Additionally, a single more established independent musician is invited to headline each compilation and help create additional exposure for the other artists involved (previous headline artists include Jill Sobule, Melissa Ferrick and Glen Phillips of Toad The Wet Sprocket).

Determined to give back to the independent and singer/songwriter communities which have nurtured her own career, MPress founder and project coordinator Sage has been inspired to present such a compilation series “ever since I performed at Lilith Fair and experienced firsthand how powerful it could be…for artists at all different levels in their careers to perform together for an equally diverse group of music-lovers.”
